Simulations for the English classroom
SimLearn puts a class inside a realistic problem — a product launch, a supply-chain crisis, a public inquiry — and the students have to talk their way to a decision.
How a simulation works
- 1Everyone knows something different. Each student takes a role, with their own emails, documents and contacts. Nobody can solve it alone.
- 2Talk, negotiate, decide. The group pools what it has found out and agrees on a few key decisions.
- 3Write it up. Each student writes a recommendation, and the teacher gives feedback on the writing and the decisions — and reveals what happened next.
Students: your teacher will give you the link to each simulation.
